Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke with US President Donald Trump by phone. The call covered bilateral Türkiye-US relations as well as regional and global issues.
Erdoğan stated that he viewed the decision to extend the ceasefire in the conflict in the region as a positive development and that support for the constructive initiatives would continue.
Turkish President Erdoğan stated that the establishment of stability in Syria would be a significant gain for the entire region, and that Türkiye’s support for Syria would continue uninterrupted.
During the meeting, Erdoğan stated that preparations for the NATO Ankara Summit were ongoing and that maximum effort was being made to ensure the Summit’s success in every aspect.
